Sorry, I’m late to the party again. I over slept, lol.
It’s Twinsie Tuesday again and this wee we done Jelly Sandwiches.
Earlier in the week I was panicking a bit…I have no jelly polishes, not a single one (I know this because I went through my stash more than once). So I emailed all the other Twinsies to see what I could do. Sarah at See Sarah Swatch told me to franken one by mixing a little crème with a lot of clear.
I set to work on this challenge right away and came up with 3 bottle of polish all the same color, but different consistencies. The first bottle was half the original half crème half clear…it looked like the original and was totally opaque. The second was about a third crème the rest clear. It was still to opaque, but I did do something very nice with it (I promise to show you soon). The last wasn’t even a quarter crème and the rest clear and it was exactly what I was going for.
FYI: These are sis’s hands. Oh, and Hubs named the polish. Also, my camera really didn’t like the jelly sandwich so wouldn’t focus well.
For my first jelly sandwich, I am rather pleased with the result. It is so cute!
This is one coat Toe Jam, one coat LA Girl Glitter Addict Celebrate, one more coat Toe Jam and last a coat of Seche Vite.
What do you think of Jelly Sandwich manis? Did mine fit the bill? I hope you have and enjoyed and be sure to go check out all the other Twinsies…I can’t wait to see their Jelly Sandwiches. Have a great day, Toodles!!!
